NOTICE: The system board continues to receive a small amount of power when the computer is turned off and attached to an electrical outlet. To avoid damaging the system board, disconnect the power cable from the electrical outlet and from the back of the computer, and then press the power button before you remove the computer cover.

Press the cover release button (located at the bottom-left corner of the front panel). Rotate the bottom of the cover outward, away from the computer. Lift the cover away from the computer.

When you have finished accessing components on the system board, rotate the power supply back to its original position until the release tab snaps into the securing tab. To ensure proper installation, all screw holes should be aligned and the tabs on the front of the bracket should be flush with the front of the drive.
