    1 Connecting the Speakers The connector and color tube of the speaker cords are the same color as the label of the jacks to be connected. Be sure to match the speaker cords to the appropriate terminals on the speakers: the speaker cord with the color tube to 3, and the speaker cord without the color tube to #.

    Step 3: Performing the Quick Setup Follow the Steps below to make the basic adjustments for using the system. Note • When you connect the system and the TV with the component video cord (not supplied) or HDMI cable (supplied), you need to set the type of video output for matching your TV.

    • Is anything blocking the ventilation holes of the system? • After checking the above items and fixing any problems, turn on the system. If the cause of the problem cannot be found even after checking all the above items, consult your nearest Sony dealer.
