These are a fire hazard and do not guarantee the required level of appliance safety. To ensure safe operation, only use the ventilation hood after it has been properly installed.

Always observe local building code requirements when selecting duct material. Exhaust air should not be vented into a chimney or vent flue which is otherwise in use and should not be channeled into ducting which ventilates rooms with fuel-burning installations.
