When using traditional text input, press a number key, 1to 9, repeatedly until the desired character appears. In predictive text input you can enter a letter with a single keypress.

    M e s s a g e s 6. Messages The message services can only be used if they are supported by your network or your service provider. Note: When sending messages, your phone may display the words Message sent. This is an indication that the message has been sent by your device to the message center number programmed into your device.

    M e s s a g e s Your device supports the sending of text messages beyond the character limit for a single message. Longer messages will be sent as a series of two or more messages. Your service provider may charge accordingly. Characters that use accents or other marks, and characters from some language options like Chinese, take up more space limiting the number of characters that can be sent in a single message.

    M e s s a g e s Read and reply to a message is shown when you received an SMS message or an SMS e-mail. The blinking indicates that the message memory is full. Before you can receive new messages, delete some of your old messages in the Inbox folder.
