Vertical lines or bad image quality on the front side scan can also be caused by a defective Front Side Lamp.

These brushes remove paper dust and other contaminents from the Pick Roller Unit and the Brake Roller. Replacing these brushes and keeping them in good condition will increase the life of both the Pick roller Unit and Brake Roller.

Use them approximately every 50,000 sheets scanned. They are to be used in between the thorough cleanings of the scanner.
