Replacing a FINE Cartridge When remaining ink cautions or errors occur, the error code will appear on the LCD to inform you of the error. In this state, the printer cannot print or scan. Check the error code and take appropriate action. When Error Occurred While using the printer, the periphery of the paper output slot may become dirty with ink.

Setting the Ink to be Used • Color ink may be consumed even when printing a black-and-white document or when black-and- white printing is specified. Both color ink and black ink are also consumed in the standard cleaning and deep cleaning of the print head, which may be necessary to maintain the performance of the printer.

If you install a used FINE cartridge, the indicated ink level of it may not be correct.
Ink Tips How is ink used for various purposes other than printing? Ink may be used for purposes other than printing. Ink is not only used for printing, but also for cleaning the print head to maintain the optimal printing quality. If the problem is not resolved, turn off the power and clean the print head deeply again after 24 hours. If the problem is still not resolved, replace the FINE cartridge with a new one.
