    The parallel interface Follow these steps to connect the parallel interface cable to the printer: Turn off both the printer and computer. Open the rear cover by grasping it by the handholds on each side and pulling it out and down.

    Operating the Control Panel The DFX-8000’s control panel gives you access to several powerful features. The control panel buttons let you control paper loading, primer settings, and more. The control panel indicator lights give you status information such as which mode the printer is in, which tractor is loaded with paper, and which tractor is ready to print.
