Safety Precautions This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved Children shall not play with the appliance.
Safety Precautions WARNING. Never stop the machine before the end of the drying cycle unless all items are quickly removed and spread out so that the heat is dissipated. Adequate ventilation has to be provided to avoid the back flow of gases into the room for appliances burning other fuels, including open fires.

Safety Precautions Gas heated tumble dryer: Before installation, check that the local distribution conditions, nature of gas and pressure and the adjustment of the appliance are compatible. The machine is not to be installed in rooms containing cleaning machines with perchloroethylene, TRICHLOROETHYLENE or CHLOROFLUOROCONTAINING HYDROCARBONS as cleaning agents.
General General Control Panel The control panel is used to choose the drying program with options and to start and stop the machine. The panel houses a control knob and a display. Display Control knob Control knob The control knob is used to select drying program and any other available functions.
General Display The display presents the drying programs and additional functions. General Drying Program The machine is programmed with a number of programs adapted to the range of uses to which the machine is intended. EXTRA DRY The following drying programs can be available: Drying program EXTRA DRY. Drying program DRY. Time program X MINUTES.
General Drying Functions START EXTRA DRY Turn the control knob to the START row. Press HIGH TEMP START the knob to start the selected program. CHANGE TEMPERATURE STOP Press the control knob to stop the program. Restart the drying program by pressing the control knob again.
Handling Handling Starting with control knob • Select the desired drying program with the control knob and confirm by pressing the EXTRA DRY knob. • Turn knob clockwise to change drying tem- perature. • Press knob and select desired temperature: HIGH (70 °C), MEDIUM (60 °C) or LOW (50 °C). • Press knob to start. EXTRA DRY HIGH TEMP. CHANGE TEMP. EXIT SELECT TEMP.
Error codes Error codes A fault in the program or in the machine is indi- cated by an error message comprising an error code and a descriptive text. INCORRECT The drying program and the error code can PROGRAMMING be reset before restarting by holding in the knob for at least 10 seconds or turning off the power to the machine.
Maintenance Maintenance The following checks should be carried out regularly and as required, depending on the amount of use. Daily • Check that the machine stops when the door is opened. • Check that the door seal is clean (clean with a damp cloth).
