Chapter 3. Installing options

This chapter provides instructions for adding options to your blade server. Some
option-removal instructions are provided in case you need to remove one option to
install another.

Installation guidelines

Before you begin to install options in your blade server, read the following
information:
v Read the safety information beginning on page v and the guidelines in "Handling

To help ensure proper cooling and system reliability, make sure that microprocessor
