Technical Information
c) Checking for correct water intake
Sufficient water has been taken in when the level is a shown in
Section 3.1.2 – Water Levels, Figures 3-3 or 3-4.
d) Loading the machine
All surfaces of crockery should be reached by the jets of water.
When loading the machine, care should be taken to ensure that the
spray arms are not hindered.
e) Water softener system
The softener system is operating correctly when it stops the water
hardness during the final rinse rinsing above 4°d (70mg/l)
The water hardness should be checked only after water for the final
rinse has entered the machine and after the timer has advanced
unaided from "Start" to this position in program "Universal 65°", i.e.
not if the timer has been turned manually to this setting.
If the water hardness is higher than the above figure then the system
must be checked.
If the unit has been operated without softener salt then it should be
reactivated by carrying out the reactivation cycle three times.
f) Spray arm rotation
The spray arms should rotate at the following speeds:
Middle arm > 16 rpm
Lower arm 36 ± 5 rpm
Upper arm > 30 rpm
