    Installing the 5887 disk drive enclosure Use this overview as a guide to the tasks required for installing the 5887 disk drive enclosure (EXP24S SFF Gen2-bay Drawer) into a rack and cabling it to a server. You can use the following table to read about and complete the high-level tasks for installing the 5887 disk drive enclosure.

However, if other installation factors require you to remove the SAS cables from the ESM, label the cables before you disconnect them to ensure that you can reconnect them correctly at the end of this procedure.
