To use the Dell PowerVault MD3260/MD3260i/MD3660i/MD3660f/MD3060e storage arrays, you must install the MD Storage Manager from the Resource Media for Dell PowerVault MD Series shipped with the system. CAUTION: Do not install software, utilities, or device drivers from any earlier versions of MD Series Resource Media.
Support for Dense Storage Array Enclosure The MD Series Dense storage array is a five-drawer 4U enclosure managed by dual SAS, iSCSI (1 Gbps or 10 Gbps), or Fibre Channel (8 Gbps) RAID controller modules. The array can be expanded up to 120 physical disks (or 180 with premium feature activation) by attaching up to two MD3060e (SAS based) expansion enclosures.
