About this manual ® This manual contains service and reference information for the following ThinkPad products. ThinkPad Edge E520 Machine Type (MT) 1143 and 1144 ThinkPad Edge E525 MT 1200 Use this manual along with the advanced diagnostic tests to troubleshoot problems.

If you replace the system board, you must restore the serial number of the system unit to its original value.
