Checking the programmed
Water hardness level.
Turn the dishwasher off.
Turn the Program selector knob to
the "STOP" position.
Enter the programming mode by
pressing the "Top Solo" button, while
simultaneously turning the machine
"On". After 2 seconds release the
"Top Solo" button. The "On" lamp
should be lit and the "Softener" lamp
should be blinking once you have en-
tered the programming mode. If the
"Softener" lamp is not blinking, re-
peat the process. (Ignore the "Salt"
and "Rinse aid" lamps).
Slowly turn the Program selector
knob clockwise, through all the pro-
gram selections.
The "Top Solo" lamp will light when
the currently programmed hardness
level is reached.
When the "STOP" position is
reached, turn off the machine.

Selector settings.

The water hardness selector in the
wash cabinet is factory set to posi-
tion 6. This needs to be changed if
your water hardness level is between
36 – 65 gr/gal (refer to following table).

Do not set the selector on
settings 1-3.
Using a screwdriver remove the
cover from the water hardness
selector.
Adjust the water hardness selector
as necessary. There will be a click as
each setting is reached.
Example:
The water hardness is 38 gr/gal.
The water hardness selector in the
wash cabinet must be set to 4 (36 -
47gr/gal).
Replace the cover on the water
hardness selector.
