    Combination nozzle Hold the cleaner securely when vacuuming with the combination nozzle so that it does not fall over when you pull on the hose.     Storing the cleaner When not in use, the shaft should be locked into position and the cleaner can simply be left wherever convenient. To save space you can unlock the shaft and hang the cleaner up out of the way. To unlock the shaft simply step on the foot switch.

    Maintenance and care When to change the dustbag Change the dustbag when the colour marker in the dustbag change indicator fills the display, or sooner if it is no longer effective (see possible reasons for this below). Dustbags are designed for single use only.

    Maintenance and care How the dustbag change indicator works The dustbag change indicator is designed to measure the air permeability of a dustbag containing common household dust. Normal household dust would contain a mixture of dust, hair, carpet fibre, threads, grit etc.

    Maintenance and care Replacing the dustbag ^ Press the dust compartment release button and open the lid. The dustbag has a self-closing flap. It closes automatically when the dustbag is removed to prevent any dust escaping. ^ Pull the dustbag out by the grip next to the self-closing flap on the collar.

A temperature limiter will switch the cleaner off automatically if, for instance, large articles have blocked the suction tube or when the filter bag is full or contains too much fine dust.     Accessories ACTIVE air clean filter (supplied as standard with some models) The ACTIVE air clean filter is a special active charcoal filter which absorbs odours from the dust collected in the dustbag, and therefore helps to prevent a build-up of odours occuring. Do not use aroma capsules in your cleaner if you use this filter.
