[Device Settings] tab
Allows you to configure options. When using an optional device, you need to configure the device on the [Device
Settings] tab.
To open the [Device Settings] tab, you must access the printer driver properties from the [Devices and Printers] folder
(Windows Vista/Windows Server 2008: [Printers] folder). For more details, see the following page:

Sets the model type.
Sets whether or not optional devices are installed.
Sets whether or not the Paper Feed Unit (2nd drawer), Paper Feed Pedestal (3rd
drawer), Drawer Module (4th drawer), or Large Capacity Feeder is installed.
Sets whether or not the Finisher is installed.
Sets whether or not the Hole Punch Unit is installed.
Sets whether or not the External Large Capacity Feeder is installed.
Select when the Inserter Unit is installed.
Select when the Automatic Duplexing Unit is installed.
Select when the Hard Disk is installed.
Sets the paper size and paper type of each drawer.
Sets whether or not the user management setting is enabled. You can also set
whether or not the Private Print Restriction function and Hold Print Restriction
function are enabled.
Sets options specific to PCL6 or PostScript, or changes the Plug-in settings or
the printer driver language.
Displays the [Version Information] dialog box.
Enables SNMP communication between this equipment and your computer to
retrieve configuration information.
Restores the equipment's settings on the [Device Settings] tab menu to the
default settings.
