Configuring Ethernet Interfaces
Command
switch# show interface type slot/port
switch# show interface type slot/port capabilities
switch# show interface type slot/port transceiver

show port--profile
The show interface command is invoked from EXEC mode and displays the interface configurations. Without
any arguments, this command displays the information for all the configured interfaces in the switch.
This example shows how to display the physical Ethernet interface:
switch# show interface ethernet 1/1

Displaying Interface Information
Purpose
Displays the detailed configuration of the specified
interface.
Displays detailed information about the capabilities
of the specified interface. This option is available
only for physical interfaces.
Displays detailed information about the transceiver
connected to the specified interface. This option is
available only for physical interfaces.
Displays the status of all interfaces.
Displays the detailed listing of the flow control
settings on all interfaces.
Displays the debounce status of all interfaces.
Displays information about the port profiles.
