The following example shows how to import supported system-level commands excluding the Ethernet
interface commands into the switch profile named sp.
switch(config-vlan)# conf sync
switch(config-sync)# switch-profile sp
Switch-Profile started, Profile ID is 1
switch(config-sync-sp)# show switch-profile buffer

Command
Configuring Switch Profiles
Purpose
• <CR>—Adds selected commands.
• interface—Adds the supported commands for
a specified interface.
• running-config—Adds supported system-level
commands.
• running-config exclude interface
ethernet—Adds supported system-level
commands excluding the physical interface
commands.
Imports the commands and saves the commands to
the switch profile.
(Optional)
Aborts the import process.
Exits the switch profile import mode.
(Optional)
Displays the switch profile configuration.
(Optional)
Copies the running configuration to the startup
configuration.
