10. Connecting cables
Daisy chaining
In order to function, ALL units must be connected by daisy chain cables that carry power and data.
The UPS Unit requires a DC power source, usually from the vehicle or system under test. The power is fed
via the POWER connector on the front side of the UPS Unit.
Connect the UPS Unit's PWR OUT/DATA connector to one of the DATA connectors of the next unit, usually
a REC Unit. From here the next unit must be connected in the same way.

Warning!
Do NOT connect an individual daisy chain to more than one power source. Doing
such will destroy the units.
It is allowed to use two or more UPS Units, because these units deliver power only
"downstream" to subsequent units.
Attention!
Make sure that all unused connectors are sealed with a cap against dirt and
moisture.
