4. Heating Mode Operation (Except Cooling Model) The unit will operate according to the setting by the remote controller and the operation diagram is shown as following. Intake Air temp. Setting temp.+3°C (Compressor OFF) Setting temp. (Compressor ON) minimum minimum minimum 1min 10sec.
6. Defrost Control • Defrost control is available 45 minutes later since heating mode operation started, and it will not prolong over 10 minutes. • Defrost control is carried out when the outdoor pipe temp. falls below -6°C for more than 3 minutes after 45 minutes passed from starting of heating operation.
Installation of Indoor, Outdoor Unit 1. Selection of the best location Inspection hole 1) Indoor unit Top view (600X600) (unit: mm) Control box Select location Install the air conditioner in the location that satis- fies the following conditions. • The place shall easily bear a load exceeding four times the indoor unit’s weight.
2. Indoor unit installation Installation of Unit Install the unit above the ceiling correctly. CASE 1 POSITION OF SUSPENSION BOLT • Apply a joint-canvas between the unit and duct to absorb unnecessary vibration. • Apply a filter Accessory at air return hole. (Unit:mm) Dimension Capacity...
3. The Indoor Unit Installation • Select and mark the position for fixing bolts. • Drill the hole for set anchor on the face of ceiling. Old building New building • Insert the set anchor and washer onto the suspen- sion bolts for locking the suspension bolts on the ceil- ing.
WIRED REMOTE CONTROL INSTALLATION DISASSEMBLING • Separate the under plate from Remote control box. Front case Lever carefully Remote control the box open box body using a screw • Fix the cord clamps on the wall by ø 3 tapping driver, etc.
5. Connecting Cables between Indoor Unit and Outdoor Unit 1) Connecting cables to the Indoor Unit Connect the wires to the terminals on the control board individually according to the outdoor unit connection. • Ensure that the color of the wires of outdoor unit and the terminal No. are the same as those of indoor unit respectively 18K/24K Btu •...

Perform the electrical wiring work according to the electrical wiring ELECTRICAL WIRING connection. • All wiring must comply with local requirements. Circuit Breaker • Select a power source that is capable of supplying Use a 35A(60K) circuit breaker or time the current required by the air conditioner.
6. Connecting Pipes to the Indoor Unit • Preparation of Piping Main cause of gas leakage is defect in flaring work. Carry out correct flaring work in the following procedure. 1) Cut the pipes and the cable. Use the accessory piping kit or the pipes purchased Copper locally.
Piping Connection 1. Form the piping according to its routing. Avoid bend- Liquid side ing and bending back the same piping point more than three times. (This will result in hardening the Indoor pipe.) unit 2. After deforming the piping, align centers of the union fitting of the indoor unit and the piping, and tighten Outdoor Flare connection...

CAUTION 1. Install declination of the indoor unit is very important for the drain of the duct type air conditioner. 2. Minimum thickness of the insulation for the connecting pipe shall be 5mm. Front of view • The unit must be horizontal or declined to the drain hose connected when finished installation. Ceiling CORRECT INCORRECT...
• Drill the piping hole with 70mm dia, hole WALL core drill. Indoor Outdoor • Piping hole should be slightly slant to the outdoor side. 5~7mm INSULATION, OTHERS Insulate the joint and tubes completely. THERMAL INSULATION All thermal insulation must comply with local requirement. INDOOR UNIT Union for liquid pipe Thermal insulator for refrigerant pipe...
FORM THE PIPINGS Seal a small opening around the pipings 1. Wrap the connecting portion of indoor unit with with gum type sealer. the Insulation material and secure it with two Plastic Bands. (for the right pipings) • If you want to connect an additional drain hose, the end of the drain-outlet should keep distance Drain hose from the ground.

2) Connection of power supply 1. Connect the power supply cord to the independent power supply. • Circuit breaker is required. 2. Operate the unit for fifteen minutes or more. 3) Evaluation of the performance 1. Measure the temperature of the intake and discharge air. 2.
Optional Operation 1) Two Thermistor System (1) Open the rear cover of the wired remote-controller to set the mode. (2) Select one of three selectable modes as follows. • Position 1: The room temperature is controlled by the thermistor of the main body. •...
2) Group Control(Optional Wiring) • You can use a group control operation after connecting the brown and yellow wire of each air-conditioner. • Remove the resistor "OP 7" in remote controller. • It operates maximum 16 Units by only one Wired Remote Controller, and each Unit starts sequentially to prevent overcurrent.
E.S.P.(External Static Pressure) Setting (18K, 24K. 36K) (1) Open the rear cover of the wired remote-controller to set the mode. (2) Select one of three selectable modes as follows. Without Zone System 1. Position V-H, F-H: • This position sets the maximum E.S.P as a default set. 2.
How to set E.S.P? (18K, 24K. 36K) Procedure of RPM change: Ex) External Static pressure is 6mmAq for Model Name "LB-H1860RH" • To protect the unit, compressor is designed to be off during E.S.P. setting. Push the "On/Off" button. The unit will start.
