Replacing a PCI adapter

This procedure describes how to remove and replace a PCI adapter.
1. Remove cover. See "Removing the cover" on page 113.
2. Open the adapter latch and remove the failing adapter.
3. Remove the new adapter from its static-protective package.
4. Install the new adapter into the appropriate connector on the system and close
