vap ssid (access point)
Description
With this command, you configure the SSID for the relevant VAP interface.
Note
This command is available only in access point mode.
Requirement
You are in the Interface Configuration mode of the VAP interface.
The command prompt is as follows:
cli (config-if-vapX-0-Y)#
Syntax
Call up the command with the following parameters:
vap ssid <ssid>
The parameter has the following meaning:

The SSID for the VAP interface is configured.
Further notes
You display the setting with the show wlan vap <vap X 0/Y>command.

Description
SSID of the VAP interface
Range of values / note
Enter the SSID.
The length of the character string for SSID is 1 to 32
characters. ASCII code 0x20 to 0x7e is used for the
SSID.
To be able to use spaces in the SSID, enter the SSID
in quotes:
vap ssid "H a l l o"
